Q Newton Beck
Q Beck is the co-founder & CEO of Famigo, a leading software platform that protects children and family consumers on smartphones and tablets. Famigo’s platform allows children to access high-quality, age-appropriate content on mobile devices while protecting their personal information and preventing them from being tracked, accessing behavioral advertisements and making in-app purchases. As an expert on digital privacy and COPPA, Q has won numerous awards including the Family Online Safety Institute’s 2014 Outstanding Achievement Award.
Prior to business school, he spent nine years in the film industry as a development and production executive for numerous family media companies, including Nickelodeon, DreamWorks. and Disney. He earned a BA in Film Studies from Columbia University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.
Christopher Clough
Christopher Clough is managing partner in the Austin Office of Barron & Adler. Mr. Clough joined Barron & Adler in 2008 and specializes in eminent domain law and inverse condemnation. Mr. Clough was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2004. He began his career with a private firm before moving to the Texas Attorney General’s office where he worked from 2004 to 2008.
Christopher M. Clough attended Columbia University and graduated with honors in 1999, earning a B.A. in political science. He earned his law degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 2003, graduating with honors.
Dave Donovan
As a CFO consultant at Bridgepoint Consulting, Dave has a strong background in all areas of finance, with public accounting and private industry responsibilities in both public and privately held companies; domestic and international company experience including internal and external financial statement reporting, banking/cash management/investments, capital raising, investor relations, operations support, taxes, credit & collections, risk management/insurance, acquisition analysis, strategic planning/budgeting/forecasting, and Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance. Clients range from small early-stage semiconductor, gaming and nanotechnology companies up through large public manufacturing companies. His experience includes both domestic and international operations, Treasury management, financial reporting, investor relations, planning/forecasting, M&A, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and SEC work, among others.
Prior to joining Bridgepoint, Dave was a senior financial executive at Sigmatel, a publicly held, international fabless semi-conductor company. While with Sigmatel, he held Treasury, reporting, and investor relations positions. In prior years Dave held several senior financial positions at Legerity, Inc., a leading provider of integrated circuits for the telecom industry. He began his career in the audit and tax departments of PriceWaterhouse Coopers, and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree – Economics from Duke University. He has also served as a member of the KLRU Community Advisory Board.
